Graduation Requirements

In order to graduate from CLASS and receive a high school diploma, a student must successfully complete a minimum of twenty (20) credits in the following areas of study:

Students transferring into CLASS at the tenth grade or higher may be eligible to waive some Theological Studies and/or Heritage Studies credits (all other areas of study must be fulfilled in their entirety). For example, a tenth grader who has never had a Theological course would not be required to make up the ninth grade credit, but would still need to take the three remaining credits.

Additional Courses

Additional Courses can be selected from any subject and area of study. The only limitation to choosing them is whether the desired courses have specific prerequisite requirements.

Art, Music, & Physical Education

Christian Liberty requires art, music, and physical education each year throughout high school to ensure that students gain experience and skills in these subject areas. CLASS does not, however, award academic credit for art, music, or physical education.

Although these subjects are assigned by CLASS, we do not stock or provide materials for them. Instead, we allow the family to select the course materials they wish to use and to determine the specific requirements for each subject. Final grades are awarded by the family based on the assignments completed and the attitude exhibited by the student, and are reported to CLASS on Report & Identification forms we provide.

For more detailed information, and suggestions which may help you fulfill course requirements, see our requirements page.
